Why Your Beliefs Are Holding You Back

Belief system is something that you simply cannot live without. However, sometimes these are what actually hold you back from acquiring your dreams.

First of all, just sit back and reflect on the things that you are surrounded by. Have a look at your family, loved ones, children, home environment, career, education, friends, work etc. Just sit back and reflect on all of these aspects of your life.

Did you know that all of these were 100% created by you?

All that is around you is created by your belief. Therefore, what really is standing between you and your desires is actually your belief system. Your subconscious beliefs really have the power to control your life. We are so concerned with our conscious mind, that we fail to understand that the subconscious mind is the real issue!

Do you now see what needs to be changed? It is your beliefs. You need to start replacing negative beliefs with positive ones so that you begin getting what you want from life. Be warned that it is not an easy task for everyone. In fact, it can take a toll on your sanity.

Since, it is not easy to know how to clear off rotten beliefs that are creating trouble in your life and here are some tips to get you started:

1- Monitor your thoughts. The subconscious mind reveals itself through the routine thoughts and judgments. We have to be aware of those thoughts. For instance, if you are going to your university continuously thinking about a teacher you hate, the amount of traffic and heat, your unpaid fee, your miserable life and your shattered love life. Guess what? This is exactly all what you will be attracting towards your life, as it is what you are giving your energy to. It is time to change the way we think!

2- Replace negativity with positive imagination. Think about your dream job, dream house or dream holiday. Think about the moments you have been the most happy in.  If you are in traffic and you hate it, just be indifferent to it and tell yourself that stressing too much about it will not cause it to go away. You have to believe that you can change your life. Do not stay stuck in the past; think about what you want in life ahead.

3- Be self-aware and take a committed challenge towards changing your life. Ask yourself questions about which beliefs bother you. You will be surprised to get the answers from yourself.

4- Enjoy silence with yourself and try connecting with your Higher Self, God or the Universe to show you the right way.

Practice these ideas in your life and you can rest assured that your beliefs can be changed. They are not the final word in your life but a mere scribble that can be erased with a little positivity. They are your self-constructed illusions and you are in total control of them.
